Arsenal to bring Cesc Fabregas back to the Emirates

According to the Daily Mail,The Gunners are preparing an offer to bring former captain Cesc Fabregas back to North London.

The former Barcelona midfielder is currently taking a break following his efforts for Spain at the Confederations Cup in Brazil, and is understood to be thinking about his long-term future.

Fabregas quit  the Emirates in 2011 to re-join Barcelona, where he began his career as a youth team player in 1997 before joining the English side in 2003.

The 26-year-old has also been linked with Manchester United,But the spaniard insists he wants to stay with the spanish giants and has no intentions on calling time on his two year stay at the club.

However, doubts over how he fits into manager Tito Vilanova’s plans having been regularly excluded from big games last season have left the former Emirates hero assessing his options.

Arsene Wenger’s side is poised to strike if the midfielder decides on a move, and have first refusal should Barca be willing to sell, which would make any potential deal relatively straightforward to conclude.Arsenal would have to pay a fixed price of £25 million to re-sign the player.

Fabregas appeared 303 times for Arsenal, scored 57 goals and provided 100 assists over his eight year stay in North London.
